Jorge Moll Continues to Explore the Wonder of the Human Mind
Jorge Moll is known for his impressive work in the medical field. He earned his MD in Neuroscience from Rio de Janiero’s Federal University, and he completed his residency there after graduation. Later, Moll received a PhD in Experimental Pathophysiology from São Paulo University.
Dr. Moll has always been passionate about helping people with conditions that stop them from living their best lives (Mrkbr). He is currently a board member and president of D’Or Institute of Research and Education (IDOR) and the director of the Cognitive and Behavioral Neurosciences Unit and Neuroinformatics Workgroup, which is a prominent laboratory for imaging and diagnostics. In addition to making significant strides in his career, Jorge Moll is also a devoted family man and resides in Rio de Janiero.
Moll shares that he developed the idea for D’Or Institute of Research and Education due to his love for education and research. He also wanted to improve healthcare conditions in his home country of Brazil. He asserts that he makes the most of his time througout the day by attending meetings that cover several topics. He spends time talking to students, as well as fellow researchers, scientists and business owners that represent several different organizations. He says that collaborating with others and hearing the viewpoints of several different professionals is what inspires him to come up with new and innovative ways to serve others. Moll also says that he makes his ideas come to life by doing away with ideas that will not be effective and sorting through the best and most effective suggestions.
Currently, Moll says there are several topics that interest him. He is particularly fascinated with artificial intelligence and the way that machines and the brain work together. Moll also says he’d like to learn more about gene therapy and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Jorge Moll also realize that many of the habits he has adopted through the years have contributed to hissuccess. He says that in order to excel, it’s important to be skilled, open and honest. He also shares that he wishes he would have let go of ideas that weren’t exactly productive in his younger years. He also asserts that when it comes to creativity and success, it’s best to run with ideas and make them lucrative, or move on to another idea as quickly as possible to avoid wasting time. He also reiterates that questioning the model or standard for concepts is essential for continued growth and improvement.
